Growthland motivates Spain’s creative talent by sponsoring the Young Lions Film 2021

Growthland, is sponsoring the Cannes' Spanish competition in the Film category, one of the most appealing categories to young creative talent. Registration is open until April 22, 2021. The winning creative team will represent Spain in the international competition.

Growthland, the new proposal for the marketing industry by NTT Disruption, is launching the Young Lions Spanish competition in the Film category, with SCOPEN´s support. Registration is open until 22, 2021 at Cannes Lions Spain Young Lions Film 2021

With this competition’s sponsorship, Growthland is reinforcing its support of Spanish creative talent. This is the first time it is promoting this festival. “Without any doubt, Cannes is one of the most well-known festivals in the advertising and creative industry. We see Young Lions as the perfect competition for young creative teams to contribute with fresh ideas that make a positive impact on society” says Fernando Lázaro, Head of Growthland and CMO at NTT Disruption.

One of Cannes main attributes is that briefings should have a social objective. This year Growthland has chosen to work with the Luzón Foundation. It works to improve the lives of families and patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). “We selected the Luzón Foundation because its values align very closely with ours. Our purpose is to do good and to meet this objective we try to contribute “good” to society. Furthermore, we have worked previously with them, and their cause is very close to our group” adds Fernando.

Growthland has worked together with Luzón Foundation on the briefing that the participants will work on for the competition to help the foundation develop their new communication campaign.

The competition, which will last 48hs will end on Sunday, April 25, 2021, when the jury will start evaluating the proposals. It will be composed of:

  • Kika Samblás, Founder & Managing Director at SCOPEN.
  • Marga Castaño, Head of Creativity at Growthland.
  • May Escobar, General Director at Luzón Foundation.
  • Poncho García-Valenzuela, Chief Innovation Officer at IPG Mediabrands.
  • Rafa Antón, Founder & Creative Director at CHINA.
  • Toni Segarra, Founder & Creative Director at Alegre Roca.

The winning duo will represent Spain in the International Young Lions at Cannes Lions Festival 2021. The event will take place one week before Cannes (from May 24 to June 14, 2021). This will be the first 100% digital edition.
